Eriksson Beam allows the engineer to quickly analyze and design precast/prestressed concrete beams in accordance with ACI 318-. All types of horizontal precast members can be designed, including double tees, inverted tees, spandrels and hollow core slabs. Also included are sections that require a principal axis analysis, such as stadium risers. Reinforcement can be any combination of prestressing strand, rebar, and mesh. Multiple holes in both beam webs and decks can be modeled. A general purpose polygon editor is included for the design of unusual cross sections.
Beam’s fast and accurate computational engine includes many advanced features, such as cracked sections, strain compatibility, concrete stress-strain curves, bi-axial bending, slender spandrels, and more. Output consists of a mix of text and graphs, allowing the user to quickly converge on a workable design. The one-page Performance Summary, along with the one-page Reinforcement Sketch can be used as a concise submittal package.  A 3D model is generated as a visualization tool to confirm your design.

Additional Features:
- Start and stop reinforcement anywhere
- Specify holes in both webs and decks, as well as solid zones in hollow core
- Advanced analysis options include cracked section, strain compatibility, concrete stress-strain curves, biaxial bending, and slender spandrel
- Comprehensive output: complete intermediate calculations and details of all analysis results
- Concise output: Performance Summary + Design Summary
- 3D visualizer: Accurate, flexible 3D rendering of all design details plus export capabilities

Eriksson Column
A Better Way to Design Precast Columns
- Analyzes rectangular, mild or prestressed columns
- Support for cutouts and openings
- Advanced analysis options, including  bi-axial bending and p-delta
- Automatic load patterning
- Four optional handling stages
- 3D visualization helps to ensure accurate placement of loads, cutouts, and reinforcement

Eriksson Connect
A Better Way to Design Connections and Joints
Key Features
- Ledge, dap, studs, and corbel design
- Strict QC process insures consistent results
- Submittal ready single page output
- Automatic fully parametric design
- Dynamic 2D sketches and 3D rendering
- User friendly input with no dialog boxes
- Future additional modules: welds and steel corbels
Eriksson Connect allows the engineer to quickly analyze and design precast connections and joints in accordance with ACI 318. There are currently four connection types included in the program: beam ledges, beam daps, studs, and concrete corbels. In the future, modules to handle virtually all connection and joint types will be added—including welds and steel corbels.
Eriksson Connect’s intuitive and highly graphical interface allows you to quickly and efficiently perform designs. With auto-design features, you can change any of the geometric parameters and analysis options and all of the results will automatically be recalculated. The powerful 3D rendering engine visualizes your design to help you ensure accuracy and the one page analysis report allows for a concise submittal document.

Eriksson Wall
A Better Way to Design Precast Wall Panel
- Mild or prestressed wall panels
- Sandwich, solid, hollow core sections
- Support for solid zones, reveals, and openings
- Handling analysis with rolling block or static lift available
- Automatic load patterning
- Four optional handling stages
- Handles partially composite wall panels
- P-Delta and cracked section analyses
- Dynamic 2D sketches and 3D rendering
Eriksson Wall is the most advanced software for precast wall panel design. With it, you can quickly design and analyze load-bearing solid or insulated precast concrete wall panels and tied columns. The user can analyze a single panel or multiple stacked panels. Eriksson Wall can help the practicing engineer visualize the panel design and eliminate input errors through multiple sketches and 3D renderings that are updated in real time.
The user-friendly interfaces separates the inputs and outputs into separate panes to eliminate the need for dialog boxes. Input panes display onscreen as they do in the reports to make navigation even easier within the program. Output is shown graphically, allowing the user to rapidly converge on an acceptable reinforcement pattern. The one-page performance summary presents a dashboard view of the design for quick review, and a reinforcement sketch is provided for conveying all useful design information to production.
